Going to the ER

I'm taking Michael to be admitted at a psychiatric facility. He is still struggling with feeling the need to stab me or kill me. He doesn't wan to go but says he needs to. He thinks about it from the moment he steps in from school. He has been trying to hide it from me. He thinks "they" are going to make him do it.

My heart breaks for Michael. I can't possibly fathom how it feels to a 9 year old to have these sorts of thoughts and feelings. I can't understand the depths of his internal conflict.

I wish I had just the right words to comfort you. I know this has been a long road and a very troubling journey for both of you. This WILL get better. There are many, many people praying for the entire family, and especially him! Hang in there!

hi there,
just getting caught up on your blog now. i'm so sorry, but so GLAD he can come to you and trust you with his problems. I imagine that helps his siblings understand as well, and be able to in turn trust you more and more. THAT is huge. You are SUCH a great mom. I just needed to tell you that.

Hugs for all...
