They Won't Make a Deal For Less Than

80 years!! I think I forgot that part the other day. They feel he has nothing to lose and will go to trial instead. They have a very strong case and feel they do not need to accept anything less than the rest of his life.

Book Lover and Kate offered to send the kids some support via the USPS. It got me thinking and I made a wish on Wish Upon a Hero asking for people to send them a card. They never receive mail and this would be such a surprise for them. I tell them of your well wishes and prayers but to actually see it would make a huge impact. Please click on the link above if you would like to join in their efforts. If you would like, feel free to link this post in your blog. The more the merrier.

Saw your wish on WUAH and wanted to learn your story, as I went through the court dealings when my former foster daughter was with me as a 15 yr old. She's now a happy, strong, loving mother of two. YOU are also showing great strength as you guide these children. Love your list of interests on your profile---obviously can never find time to do something just for yourself! Sure wish testifying could be avoided, but looks like HE is still trying to inflict pain. 80 years is not long enough!

As I sit here with tears streaming down my face, I want to tell you that you are an amazing woman!! You have a wonderful family and you have saved the lives of these innocent children. I know it is hard and sometimes make you want to run but, please know you are their backbone and you have done wonders in their lives. I wish you nothing but the best!!! I read through many of your posts and I want to tell you, screw your sister and niece!! While they look to focus on the bad, they are missing so much by not being involved in your life. It is for the best! Do not ever second guess yourself EVER!! You KNOW what it takes and how to deal and you are doing a hell of a time doing just that. I am in complete awe at what your family has stepped up and done for these children. You all truly ARE their saviors!! God bless you and keep you during these hard days you have to endure. Once it is over and done with, it will all have been worth it.

Thank you for being there for these children AND for even caring about their mother during this ordeal. Altough she is guilty for allowing it, I am glad she is speaking up and out for them now. That will help them along too.

Many blessings to you and your entire bunch! Please give them special hugs and love and tell them that there is people all over the world rooting for them! God bless you for all your time, energy, love, compassion, patience and understanding.

A humbled reader

Tudu, I new to the blogging scene, and I'm clueless on how to email you. I would love to participate and send some love through the mail. And I don't how to leave you my email without making it the knowledge of the world. Contact me if possible. Know that we are praying for your family and their entire situation.

I would love to help in this! Please email me with details. Your kids deserve anything we can do for them - I cannot even fathom the depths of their pain.

I'm so glad you chose to do that on WUAH. I first found it through a post of yours months ago (with that unfortunate debacle of that family being rescued from an abusive situation & then being so obnoxious, etc.) and WUAH has been a wonderful place for me to spend time! =)

I'm gonna hold off on offering to send anything since I am notoriously awful at getting things together & mailed in reasonable time frames, but sending prayers and good thoughts your way!

If they do go to trial, you might want to consider taking the blog down for a bit--or at least certain posts. Think carefully about any posts that characterize your kids as prone to lying, as not being able to tell reality from fantasy, or as being willing to lie to hurt people.

I know it's not likely that the dad's defense attorney will check this blog, but you've mentioned that real-life people know about it. I don't know the rules of evidence, but you might want to consider it just in case. If the kids are going to testify, consider the possibility that some of the information out there that might be used to call into question their reliability as witnesses.

(Again, I don't know if any of it could be introduced, or how, but please at least think about this.)

Finally, I know you moderate your comments, so I'm mostly putting this there as a way to communicate it. If you choose not to post this, I understand.

Just want to tell you how amazing you are. I read your blog everyday, hoping to see that your children are doing better. One part of their nightmare will be over soon, and I know their healing will continue then.

Stay strong, wonderful mother of nine.

Love and hugs from Sweden.

Hi Tudu from a 'stranger' friend following your blog. You are an amazing woman with a heart bigger than anyone I know. Your kids are so blessed to have you as their Mom to guide them through their past and into the present. It is so sad that any human being could hurt another the way they have been hurt. I've been thinking about all of you this week. I only have well wishes and prayers to offer. You are an amazing woman. You may feel weak at times from all you are faced with; but your strength to carry on as you have for so long is truly incredible. You are an inspiration to me and I'm sure many others.
