Love & Logic Parent Instructor

I have been thinking of flying to Denver and taking the course on becoming a L & L Parent Instructor. I mentioned it to one of our ATs and she said she would love to sponsor it and even let me give classes in their office. She also offered to encourage their clients to participate. Exciting? Both the ATs agreed they felt I would be very good at this. I could really use the income and I would love to do it. I think it might be a really great fit for our lives.

Anybody near Denver want to meet for lunch in a couple of months?

I think you'd be great at any kind of parenting support stuff. I've been reading adoptive parent blogs for almost two years now and I read quite a few, and you have possibly the most difficult kids of anyone I read, but you're one of maybe two that seem to have really made significant progress since I started reading, and are sounding happier now rather than burnt out and out of ideas. In the beginning I thought you must be absolutely mad to keep these children around each other, but now I totally believe in what you're doing. You're really amazing.

(Oh, and I also noticed you don't seem as self-critical as when I first started reading you, which is great too. :)

You are so generous with your comments, I appreciate every time you leave one. Not to mention that you fill my head with hot air. There have been moments I wondered if we made the right decision, I am completely certain most of the time now so that feels good. I do feel like we are making progress, I cling to that thought when they are screaming in my face or breaking something precious to one of us. You need to take credit for their healing, too. You have given me a different angle or a point I may not have ever considered without you. Thank you.
