I am Alone!!!!

So now what do I do? Clean? Nap? Watch a movie? I am too pumped up for a nap, cleaning does not sound fun, and nothing on TV. I guess I will just sit here until they come home or the energy wears off and I can take that nap I have been promising myself. I can clean later. I have tons of that to keep me busy b/c I let everything go for the last few days trying to get prepared for school.

Emma's Mother called and wished her a good first day. Nothing else compares to her remembering. All her anxiety flew out the window when I handed her the phone.

This year I have 2-Kindergartners, 2-1st graders, a 3rd, 4th, and 5th grader. We have 3 buses that come to our house for 3 different elementary schools all starting at different times. The first bus was here at 6:45AM, the regular bus arrived at 8:05AM, and the 2nd Special Needs bus was here promptly at 8:25AM. Now why couldn't they organize themselves and all get here at 8:15AM for my convenience.

DH just came in and asked if this was what it is like when they leave for college. He is already counting the days, I am not. I am also wondering if we may better spend our money on a pole than save for college. Really, I am just kidding. I think most of mine are capable of college and it is expected that they will all attend some school after high school.

In my sister's town the largest and most beautiful house is owned by the family that runs the cement business, so of course th joke in town is that everyone is going to use the college funds to buy their boys cement trucks.

That bus schedule really bites. That's more than an hour and a half between pickups! Do the schools really start at such different times or are the kids just sightseeing every morning?

My first 2 out the door in the AM sit in the bus for an hour! That seems a bit excessive but b/c they are bussed to another school they can't help it. The last bus also goes out of our district and they get to school late so she can't eat breakfast there and they think they may have to rearrange her pick up time.

Absolutely! When you have seven kids, breakfast at school is a necessity! Why don't they just hire a driver with a mini van school bus for you. I'll bet they would save money if they did!

I saw them this morning! They are too cute. I called DH and went through the routine of where they would all sleep and believe me I have the room in this new house. He put the brakes on them b/c we would not all fit in the van. So that let me know I need a group of 6 or less and he could be convinced. I am thinking 2 or 5 boys and 1 or 2 girls at the most so we can even things up a bit. Oh and they have to be under 11 b/c B refuses to give up her role as oldest. Now get on it and find me a group, we are waiting to finalize this group soon and will be ready to do it again. LOL

You guys are too funny. I saw those kids last night and also thought to mention them to you. hehe. I however DID NOT mention them to my hubby for fear that he would have me committed (although sometimes that seems appealing too!) :) Can you imagine, the oldest is 7 in a sib group of 7!

I would love to be committed every summer from here forward. lol

I just need to be committed for a weekend. :)

Those kids must have had a lot of responses. I told my husband about them and he wanted to see them, but now they are gone.
