It's Been Confirmed
We are a Virus Factory! I have 6 with Strep but none with any symptoms. What does this actually mean? They have all their normal energy but I was told they need to rest.
I've only had strep once (age 10) and I had ZERO symptoms as well. My brother had it so the doctor said we all had to be tested (5 kids in my family). Only the two of us had it but it was weird taking meds for something I didn't even know I had. Just lucky I guess since most people with strep are miserable.
My daughter was a strep carrier. She could look absolutely fine, have no fever and test positive for strep. That state would last about 3 days and then she'd rip roarin' sick. Then everyone in the house would get strep. In fact, she could finish a round of antibiotics, do a strep strip that day and test positive. It didn't stop until she had her tonsils out. Hope it doesn't come to that for you guys.

Good luck getting them to rest with no symptoms! Maybe it just means they will just give it to others! Thats always fun, too. Its nice to share.

ReplyDeleteWhat does this mean? It means you get to worry about all the germs WITHOUT the gift of children who actually sleep off their illness, lol.
